Tom, for those Team Cooper Hunting Members who don’t know you, can you tell us a little bit about you?
My name is Tom Burgess from Oklahoma City, OK. I am a Firefighter for the Department of Defense. I have served in the Navy and retired from the Air force. I was awarded 2020 Civilian of the Year for 72nd AIR Base Wing at Tinker Air Force Base in OKC. My passion is deer hunting and my current goal is working on getting a black bear.
How did you hear about Cooper Hunting / Team Cooper Hunting?
I used to make my own camo blinds just using burlap
until I ran across Cooper Hunting Blinds about 5 years ago and now if it rains my firearms and I don't get wet and miserable. Because of my success with the blinds, I wanted all of my friends to also enjoy them. So, I asked Cooper Hunting to bring their products to the Backwoods Hunting and Fishing Expo in OKC. They were able to accomplish that last year and my cousin and I volunteered to work with Cooper Hunting for the entire weekend. I made some wonderful friends and I got to meet lots of customers and was able to share my experiences of the Cooper Hunting Blinds with them.

What's your favorite blind and why do you like it?
I absolutely love my bow blind, my gun blind and my big Tom. These blinds are super light to carry, easy and fast set up, easy take down and fit back in carry sleeve every single time. I never get me nor my fire arms never get wet with these blinds. Best investment EVER.
